LLM Showdown is a 2-round event of wit, strategy, and AI prompting inspired by Codenames. Two teams compete to guide ChatGPT toward their secret target word without ever revealing it directly. Players must craft clever, indirect prompts while avoiding the target word and all its derivatives. Every response becomes a test of deduction, deception, and prompt-engineering skill.

Enigma is AECE's flagship Cryptography and Network Security challenge, designed to test participants' knowledge of cryptographic concepts, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. MEMEZAP! is a fast-paced technical entertainment event combining engineering problem-solving, digital meme creation, spontaneous pitching, and rapid-fire technical debate. Teams are given everyday technical problems and must invent absurd yet technically explainable solutions, communicate them through memes, and defend their ideas through rapid-fire questioning. The Top 8 teams then enter a high-pressure technical debate where they must reverse their stance and incorporate unexpected meme prompts into their arguments.

SOLDER IT is where electronics moves from theory to the workbench. Put your circuit knowledge, soldering skills, and problem-solving abilities to the test as you build, troubleshoot, and bring circuits to life. From assembling a given circuit on a perf board to creating your own IoT-based prototype, every round challenges you to think on your feet and build with precision. WATT A CLIMBECE

Watt a climb is a two-round technical event in which participants compete in teams to demonstrate foundational ECE knowledge, quick thinking and strategic decision-making. The event combines a quiz-based preliminary round with a game-inspired Snake & Ladder challenge. Teams must answer questions accurately and use strategic choices to progress through the final round.

Mission: Impossible is an exciting non-technical game event inspired by the world of secret agents, challenges, and high-stakes missions. Participants will work in teams to complete a series of fun, strategic, and thrilling challenges that test their teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, and quick thinking. With unexpected twists, time-based tasks, and mystery elements, every round will keep participants engaged and entertained. The ultimate goal is to complete the mission and prove that you have what it takes to overcome the impossible.

BOTTLE ROCKETRIXMECH

Bottle Rocketrix is about turning everyday objects into vessels of dreams. It's about turning a plastic bottle, water, and air pressure into a roaring spectacle that defies gravity. The rocket has a bottle as body and the compressed air inside pushes on the water as it tries to expand. The water pushes downwards through the nozzle. The water rushes through the nozzle, making a thrust to counter the weight and air resistance. The thrust pushes the rocket upwards into the sky.

Murder Mystery is an immersive investigation challenge where participants take on the role of detectives to solve a fictional murder case. Teams must analyse clues, examine evidence, connect timelines, and identify the culprit. The event tests participants' observation, logical reasoning, deduction, and teamwork under time constraints.

MECHATHLON is a mock interview event that simulates a real recruitment process, challenging participants to showcase their technical knowledge, communication, and problem-solving skills. Candidates will be evaluated by an expert panel in a professional interview setting. The event helps students gain interview experience and improve their confidence. Participants are judged based on their overall performance and employability skills. The winner will be awarded an exciting internship opportunity.

A paper presentation is a structured event where students share original research and technical insights (Domain – Robotics & Automation, Thermal, Design, Manufacturing and Materials) with an audience of peers and experts. Rather than reading a written paper, presenters use visual slides to deliver a concise, engaging summary of their problem statement, methodology, key findings, and real-world impact. It serves as a vital platform for knowledge exchange, rigorous academic debate, and constructive feedback through an interactive Q&A session.

Nitro Racing is a technical motorsport event that challenges participants to design, build, and operate a manually controlled four-wheel nitro-powered vehicle. The event evaluates vehicle design, engineering, driving performance, speed, stability, and reliability through technical inspection, qualifying rounds, and a final race.

ROBOWARSMECH

"Robowars", one of the most popular and key events at Invente '26, the annual two-day technical fest at SSN college of engineering. The primary goal of the event is to destroy or disable the opponent's robot using various tactics. Bring your powerful stand-alone robots ready to battle as you'll be pitted against other competing robots in one-on-one knockout matches and score maximum points! Play to your strengths and strategies to win cash prizes!

BLITZGPMECH

Blitz GP is an exciting RC racing challenge where engineering, creativity, driving skills, and strategy come together. Participants must design and build their own RC vehicle and put it to the ultimate test on an obstacle-filled track featuring multiple paths and challenging sections. The track will test the vehicle's stability, durability, grip, maneuverability, and speed, while drivers must make strategic decisions and balance speed with control. Teams will compete through qualifiers and intense head-to-head face-offs to determine the ultimate Blitz GP champion.

CLASH OF CADMECH

Participants compete in part modelling and assembly modelling using industry-standard CAD software. The event tests speed, accuracy, and engineering design skills under time-bound conditions. It provides a platform for students to showcase their 3D modelling and assembly expertise.

PAPER PRESENTATIONCSE

A three-round paper presentation event where participants showcase innovative research ideas, with originality, pitch, correctness, testability, and feasibility forming the core evaluation criteria. The first round involves Abstract screening, followed by Partial selection list generation to shortlist promising submissions. Selected participants advance to the Final Pitch, where they must confidently present and defend their proposal by effectively answering questions posed by the judging panel.

HACKER'S ASYLUMCSE

Hacker's Asylum is a two-round cybersecurity challenge designed to test participants across a variety of security domains. Teams will first compete in a classic Jeopardy-style Capture The Flag (CTF), solving independent challenges across multiple categories. The top teams will then advance to a themed, story-driven final round where they must solve a connected sequence of challenges while racing against other teams. Participants will be tested on skills such as web security, cryptography, reverse engineering, forensics, binary exploitation, OSINT, and other areas of cybersecurity.

MURDER MYSTIQLCSE

Murder MystiQL is an interactive SQL-based investigation event where participants take on the role of detectives investigating a fictional murder case through a relational database. Teams are provided with a compelling case story, database schema, and a clue for each level, which they must investigate by writing and executing queries to uncover hidden evidence. Participants progress through multiple levels by correctly solving each investigation, while incorrect submissions incur a temporary submission lock and a time penalty. A live leaderboard tracks team progress and performance, adding a competitive race to solve the case and identify the winner.

EXPEDITION UNKNOWNCSE

Expedition Unknown is a no-code machine learning event. Teams take on an expedition, where they come across a disastrous situation and it is necessary to build a working ML model, under various constraints. Decisions your team makes in each stage, shape what's possible later, so choose wisely.

DATA WHIZCSE

Get ready to dive into the world of data, dashboards, and discovery! DataWhiz brings together curiosity, creativity, and analytical thinking to uncover the stories hidden within data. The event is designed to engage participants of all skill levels through two exciting rounds: a data exploration quiz that tests how well you can understand and interpret a dataset, followed by a storytelling challenge where you turn data into meaningful visualizations and present the story behind your findings. APPFLIP is a fun and creative event where participants reimagine familiar apps in unexpected ways. Along with app redesign and product-based challenges, the event includes a variety of fun-filled activities that test creativity, quick thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving. Paper Presentation is a flagship event of Invente '26 that provides participants with an opportunity to showcase their research ideas and innovative work. Participants can submit research papers based on various domains in Healthcare Technology. Selected papers will qualify for the final round, where participants will present their work before a panel of judges. The final presentation will be limited to 7 minutes, followed by a 3-minute question-and-answer session. The event aims to encourage innovation, research, and impactful solutions in the field of Healthcare Technology.

SCRUBS OF SECRECYBME

Scrubs of Secrecy is an exciting two-round event that combines word-based challenges, teamwork, strategy and treasure hunting. In Round 1, teams compete in a Spy Master challenge to identify their assigned words while avoiding the black bomb card. The winning teams advance to Round 2, where they follow clues and solve challenges at different locations in a race against time. The team that successfully completes the challenges and reaches the finish point first will emerge as the ultimate champion.

INNOVENTE HEALTHATHONBME

INNOVENTE HEALTHATHON is a healthcare hackathon focused on solving real-world medical challenges through technology. Participants develop solutions in areas like Medical Electronics, Assistive Technology, Bioimage & Biosignal Processing, IoT, Wearables, and Healthcare Robotics using prototypes, simulations, or software demonstrations.

BIO BAZAARBME

BIOBAZAAR is an exciting competition designed for marketing geniuses with a touch of technical expertise! The teams are given biomedical related equipment, based on which all 3 rounds will be conducted.

QUEST FOR CLARITYBME

Quest for Clarity is a two-round technical event that challenges participants in Python debugging, technology-based puzzles, and digital logic. In Round 1, participants solve a Python Debug task followed by a Tech Riddle/Puzzle, with both solutions forming the first part of the final code. In Round 2, qualified teams solve a Logic Gates challenge using truth tables, simplified Boolean expressions, or circuit analysis. The answer from Round 2 is combined with the outputs from Round 1 to unlock the final password, with the fastest and most accurate teams emerging as the top three.

Test your luck and knowledge in this exciting Spin the Wheel event, where every spin brings a new challenge and a chance to win exciting prizes. Participants must first pick a paper from a bowl containing different question categories and answer a question from the selected category within 20 seconds. Participants who answer correctly will get the opportunity to spin the wheel and win the prize corresponding to the section where the wheel stops. The event is conducted on an individual basis, with each participant getting one chance to participate.
